ANKARA, Jan 23 (KUNA) -- Turkish Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca said on Saturday that 144 people died of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) and 5,856 others tested positive for it over the past 24 hours.
The figures pushed the death toll to 24,933 and the overall infections 2,424,328, Turkey's Anadolu Agency (AA) quoted the minister as saying in a press release.
Recoveries went up by 5,811 to 2,301,861, Koca said. (end)
