Curfew in Netherlands from tomorrow

BRUSSELS, Jan 22 (KUNA) -- A majority of MPs in the Dutch parliament have voted in favour of imposing a curfew in Netherlands from 9:00 p.m. to 4.30 a.m. from Saturday until at least February 9, Dutch media reported Friday.
The introduction of a curfew is the best way to reduce the number of infections taking place at home, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte said.
The only alternative, he said, was to advise everyone to stay indoors, which would be even more far-reaching.
The fine for breaking the curfew without a valid reason will be 95 euro (USD 115), Dutch News NL portal reported. (end) nk.sd
