Lebanon COVID-19 cases rise to 264,647

BEIRUT, Jan 20 (KUNA) -- Lebanon's daily confirmed coronavirus case tally rose by 4,332 cases to 264,647 in the past 24 hours, the health ministry said on Wednesday.
Another 64 fatalities increased the death toll from the viral illness to 2,084, while recoveries topped 157,202, the ministry said in its daily update.
Authorities have kept with a decision to maintain lockdown measures imposed on some tourist and entertainment venues along with an overnight curfew. (end) ayb.sd
