Three dead, several injuries in Madrid blast

MADRID, Jan 20 (KUNA) -- At least three people have been killed and a number of others wounded after a church-owned building in central Madrid collapsed in an explosion, Spanish TV reported on Wednesday.
A portion of the six-floor building, located next to an elderly home and a school, was destroyed as rescue workers continue to tackle the blaze, heard several kilometres away.
Nearby cars have also been damaged amid the blast the source of which remains unknown, according to authorities. (end) hnd.sd
