WASHINGTON, Jan 18 (KUNA) -- The US recorded 174,513 new coronavirus cases and 1,723 deaths in the past 24 hours, according to Johns Hopkins University.
The tally showed that the confirmed cases nationwide reached 23,933,368 and at least 397,574 deaths.
Furthermore, 124,387 people are currently hospitalized with coronavirus in the US, according to the Covid Tracking Project.
Meanwhile, at least 12,279,180 vaccine shots have been administered, according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. (end)
