RAMALLAH, Jan 17 (KUNA) -- Up to 20 patients infected with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) gave up struggle for their lives in the Palestinian territories in past 24 hours.
In her daily press briefing, Palestinian Minister of Health Dr. Mail Al-Kailah, on Sunday, said simultaneously up to 578 people in the territories were infected with the contagious germ, but 862 others recovered and were pronounced as cured of the contamination.
Moreover, there are 84 patients receiving medical care at intensive care wards -- including 21 breathing via respirators. (end)
