China: 130 new COVID-19 cases, no deaths

KUWAIT, Jan 16 (KUNA) -- China, on Saturday, reported 130 new coronavirus (COVID-19) infections in the last 24 hours. No deaths occurred.
The National Health Commission was quoted by the Xinhua news agency as saying that the tally of infections reached 88,118. Deaths remained at 4,635.
The tally of recoveries hit 82,370 with the discharge of 18 people within the last 24 hours, revealed the commission, adding that 1,113 were still receiving treatment. (end) mab.gta
