TUNIS, Dec 31 (KUNA) -- The Tunisian Ministry of Health declared on Thursday that 56 patients succumbed to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and 1,924 new infections were confirmed in 24 hours.
After today's figures, the death toll and overall infections have risen to 4,676 and 139,140 respectively since the start of the pandemic, the ministry said in a statement.
The number of recoveries rose to 105,364, it added. (End)
