PARIS, Dec 4 (KUNA) -- French Minister of State for European Affairs Clement Beaune said on Friday that his country would oppose any post-Brexit trade agreement that does not take into account some of its demands, especially in fishing field.
The French minister said in an interview with (Europe 1) radio "If there's a deal that isn't a good one, we'd oppose it."
He also stressed that the possibility of not reaching an agreement is an issue that must be prepared for, expressing hope that a good agreement will be obtained.
Yesterday, French Prime Minister Jean Castex said that the French fishing sector cannot be sacrificed for changes in post-Brexit trade negotiations. (end)
