VIENNA, Dec 4 (KUNA) -- OPEC daily basket price stood at USD 47.93 per barrel Thursday, compared with USD 46.67 pb the previous Wednesday, said the OPEC Secretariat on Friday.
OPEC annual price in 2019 was USD 52.43 pb. Several observers link the price hike to the fact that the global oil market has positively accepted the news of another COVID-19 vaccine put forward by the US-based company Moderna after a previous announcement by another company Pfizer and its German partner BioNTech.
The OPEC Reference Basket of Crudes (ORB) is made up of the following: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Djeno (Congo), Zafiro (Equatorial Guinea), Rabi Light (Gabon), Iran Heavy (Islamic Republic of Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venezuela).
