Germany: 432 new deaths with COVID-19

BERLIN, Dec 4 (KUNA) -- Germany on Saturday recorded 432 new deaths with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and 23,449 contamination cases with the conagion.
The government Robert Koch institute said in a statement death toll climbed to 18,034 and total infections to 1.130,237.
According to latest updates about global casualties with the pandemic, total number of infections hit 65.551 million, in addition to 1.512 million deaths while recoveries were estimated at 45.390 million.
The contagion first broke out in China late last year and spread to many countries in a few months.
Nations are pinning high hopes on several vaccines, mass production of which is forecast early in coming year. (end) anj.rk
