ROME, Nov 28 (KUNA) -- The Italian Ministry of Health on Saturday reported new 26,323 novel coronavirus lab-confirmed cases.
As many as 686 patients have succumbed to the respiratory illness over the last 24 hours, raising the country's death toll to 54,363, according to the daily update of the ministry.
The caseload surged to over 1.564 million.
The active cases went up by 1,415 to 789,308, including 33,299 hospitalizations and 3,762 ICU admissions. (end)
