NEW DELHI, Nov 24 (KUNA) -- India said on Tuesday that 480 people died due to COVID-19 while 37,975 cases were registered from across the country in the span of 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said that total deaths due to the coronavirus rose to 134,218 while the total number of cases mounted to 9,177,840.
The health ministry said that 8,604,955 people recovered from the pandemic as it spread to 35 Indian states.
Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala are the worst hit Indian states. (end)
