CAIRO, Nov 23 (KUNA) -- The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population said Monday that 354 people tested positive for the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) and 12 patients succumbed to the illness over the past 24 hours.
The figures took the country's tally to 113,381 infections and 6,560 deaths, the ministry's spokesman Dr. Khaled Mujahed said in a press release.
As many as 100 patients have been discharged from hospitals, bringing the overall recoveries to 101,981, he added. (end)
