CAIRO, Nov 23 (KUNA) -- The Arab League on Monday condemned an attack by Houthi militias on an oil facility in northern Jeddah city in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The league's Secretary-General Ahmad Abul-Gheit said in a press statement: "It is a terrorist act that is condemnable and unacceptable by all means. The continuation of such terrorist operations by these militias is deplorable, especially amid political efforts by the international community with all stakeholders to put an end to the Yemeni crisis in a way that allows stability and peace to be back to Yemen or between Yemen and its neighbors".
The Saudi Ministry of Energy announced earlier today that an explosion-triggered fire took place at an oil facility in Jeddah. (end)
