Turkey suffers 153 Covid-19 deaths, 6,713 cases

ANKARA, Nov 23 (KUNA) -- Some 153 patients died of the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19), and 6,713 people tested positive for the disease in Turkey over the last 24 hours, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said on Monday.
Thus, the latest figures raised the death toll and infections since the outbreak of the viral illness in Turkey to 12,511 and 453,535 respectively, Koca was quoted by Anadolu Agency as saying in a press statement.
The number of recoveries shot up to 377,891 after registering 3,254 new recoveries over the past 24 hours, he noted. (end) rs.mt
