Germany calls on Iran to abide by nuclear deal

BERLIN, Nov 23 (KUNA) -- Germany demanded on Monday that Iran adhere to the nuclear deal signed by Iran with the P5+1 group in 2015.
The international community is currently recording Iran's systematic violations of the nuclear deal, Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs Heiko Maas said in a statement in Berlin.
Germany, along with its European partners, France and Britain, demanded Iran's full commitment to all pledges made at the end of 2015, he added.
Germany, France and Britain were optimistic that the constructive stance of the new US administration would contribute significantly to breaking the stalemate in Iran's nuclear file, he explained.
Maas' statements came after a tripartite meeting with his British counterpart Dominic Raab and French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian, in which they discussed the latest developments in the nuclear deal with Iran. (end) an.lr
