CAIRO, Nov 13 (KUNA) -- The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population on Friday confirmed 224 more infections with the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) and 12 fatalities from the illness over the past 24 hours.
The figures took the country's tally to 110,319 infections and 6,429 deaths, the ministry's spokesman Dr. Khaled Mujahed said in a press release.
As many as 87 patients have been discharged from hospitals, bringing the overall recoveries to 100,847, he added. (end)
