NEW DELHI, Nov 9 (KUNA) -- Indian authorities announced on Monday that 490 people succumbed to COVID-19 as 45,903 positive cases were reported from across the country in the last 24 hours.
The Indian Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said total fatalities due to the coronavirus amounted to 126,611 while the total number of positive cases rose to 8,507,754.
According to the health ministry, 7.917,373 people recovered from the pandemic as it spread to 35 Indian states.آ
Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh are the worst hit Indian states.آ (end)
