Turkey suffers 75 Covid-19 deaths, 2,213 cases

ANKARA, Oct 31 (KUNA) -- Some 75 patients died of the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19), and 2,213 people tested positive for the disease in the last 24 hours in Turkey, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said Saturday.
Thus, the latest figures raised the death toll and infections since the outbreak of the viral illness in Turkey to 10,252 and 375,367 respectively, Koca was quoted by Anadolu Agency as saying in a press statement.
The number of recoveries edged up to 223,971 after registering 1,506 over the past 24 hours, he noted. (end) rs.mt
