RIYADH, Oct 30 (KUNA) -- Saudi Arabia on Friday voiced much sadness over the killing and injury of scores of people in the earthquake that rocked western Turkey earlier today.
In a press statement, the Saudi Foreign Ministry prayed to Allah Almighty to have mercy upon the victims and swift recovery for those injured in the quake.
Turkish authorities announced earlier Friday that a 6.6-magnitude earthquake hit the Aegean Sea off Izmir in western Turkey, leaving six people dead and at least 202 others injured. (end)
