ABU DHABI, Oct 29 (KUNA) -- The UAE on Thursday strongly deplored the stabbing incident in the French city of Nice, which led to killing and wounding several people.
In a statement carried by UAE News Agency (WAM), UAEآ’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation stressed its permanent rejection of all kinds of violence that aim to destabilize security and stability, and run counter to all humanitarian and religious values and principles, strongly denounced such "criminal acts".
The ministry offered sincere condolences to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery for the wounded, according to the statement.
A man killed three people and wounded some others with a knife in Notre-Dame Basilica Church in Nice, southeast of France, before being arrested by police. (end)
