Egypt deplores Nice attack

CAIRO, Oct 29 (KUNA) -- Egypt, in the strongest possible words, vehemently decried the stabbing incident that took place in the French city of Nice and left a number of people dead or injured.
"Egypt emphatically deplores and decries such terrorist incidents, and stresses that they absolutely contradict common sense and teachings of all heavenly religions," the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, in a press statement.
The ministry underlined that Egypt stands by the government and people of France in their response to this "abhorrent" incident, while offering sincere condolences and commiserations to the families of the victims and wishing the swift recovery of those injured. (end) asm.mt
