Switzerland records 9,683 new COVID-19 infections

GENEVA, Oct 29 (KUNA) -- Switzerland announced Thursday that the total coronavirus infections reached 145,044 after recording 9,683 new infections in the last 24 hours.
Moreover, deaths also climbed up to reach 1,985 after recording 31 cases in the past hours, The Swiss health authorities said in a statement.
It added that more than 1.8 million swab tests were done since February.
In addition, Switzerland updates the lists of unsafe destination and impose a ten days quarantine for any arrival from these countries. (end) ta.aa
