S. Korea adds 125 new virus cases, total now at 26,271

TOKYO, Oct 29 (KUNA) -- South Korea added 125 new coronavirus cases, on Thursday, bringing the country's total caseload to 26,271, said Yonhap News Agency.
The country reported one additional death, raising the death toll to 462, the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said.
Of the newly identified 106 domestic infections, 36 cases were reported in Seoul and 52 cases in Gyeonggi Province that surrounds the capital, Since the government eased the social distancing scheme to the lowest level on October 12, which allowed people to resume most of their daily activities, the daily figures have showed ups and downs, hovering around 100.
The country, meanwhile, added 19 imported cases, including eight cases came from the US and three from Kuwait. (end) mk.gta
