Bomb blast rocks Turkey's Iskenderun

ISTAMBUL, Oct 26 (KUNA) -- A suicide bombing hit in downtown Iskenderun, Hatay province, south Turkey on Monday evening, during a security manhunt.
The police forces were tracking down two suspects at Fener Street and one of them blew up himself when he felt cornered while the other managed to flee, according to local sources.
Ambulances and police squads rushed to the scene at Fener Street, which was cordoned off after the incident.
There were no casualties except for the neutralized suspect, Turkey's Anadolu Agency (AA) quoted Hatay Governor Rahmi Dogan as saying on his Twitter account.
The governor added that the security agencies continue tracking down the other suspect. (end) ta.gb
