ROME, Oct 26 (KUNA) -- Italy's Ministry of Health on Monday put the daily infection rate of the novel coronavirus (Covid-17) at 13.6 percent after registering additional 17,012 cases over the past 24 hours.
The country's tally has thus surged to 542,789, including 1,284 patients at ICUs, according to the latest update of the ministry.
In addition, 141 more fatalities took the death toll to 37,479, the health ministry added. (end)
