NEW DELHI, Oct 26 (KUNA) -- India said on Monday that 480 people succumbed to COVID-19 as 45,148 positive cases were reported around the country in a span of 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said that the death toll due to coronavirus rose to 119,014 as the total number of positive cases surged to 7,909,959.
According to the health ministry 7,137,228 people recuperated from the pandemic as it spread to 35 Indian states.
Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh are the worst hit Indian states.آ (end)
