Speaker of Libya's parl't: Approving sovereign posts represents key step

RABAT, Oct 25 (KUNA) -- Speaker of Libya's House of Representatives Aqila Saleh said on Sunday that agreeing on forming sovereign posts in the country is a key forward step to facilitate the remaining paths.
Speaking at a joint news conference with his Moroccan counterpart Habib al-Malki, Saleh said the meeting in Morocco reached some solutions including an agreement on the formation of the sovereign posts, recalling the permanent cease-fire approved two days ago and resuming flights in the country.
Meanwhile, al-Malki stressed that bringing views closer between the Libyans has contributed to getting some gains, pointing to some other rounds to translate these gains on ground.
On Saturday, Saleh held talks with Morocco's Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Nasser Bourita.
Following Saturday's gathering, Saleh said the power period in Libya is divided into three phases; the first is for the unification of the institutions, the second is tasked with putting constitutional rules and the last covers all arrangements for parliamentary and presidential polls.
