MOSCOW, Oct 14 (KUNA) -- Russia said Wednesday 239 persons died of the coronavirus while 14,231 people contracted the virus in the past 24 hours.
The coronavirus operations center said total deaths rose to 23,205 and registered cases reached 1,340,409.
It added in a statement 7,920 people recovered from the virus since yesterday to reach 1,039,705. (end)
