S. Korea adds 113 new virus cases, total now at 23,812

TOKYO, Sept 30 (KUNA) -- South Korea added 113 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday, bringing the country's total caseload to 23,812, according to Yonhap News Agency.
The country reported six additional deaths, raising the death toll to 413, the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said. Of the 93 new local infections, 51 reported in Seoul and 21 in the surrounding Gyeonggi Province.
During the Chuseok autumn harvest holiday, which runs from Wednesday to Sunday, tens of millions of people are expected to travel across the country to meet their families.
Heath authorities advised people not to travel, encouraging them to communicate with their loved ones via telephone and video chat applications. (end) mk.bs
