Mauritania mourns Kuwait late Amir

RABAT, Sept 29 (KUNA) -- The Mauritanian Presidency announced on Tuesday a mourning for three days due to the demise of Kuwait Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
In a presidential statement, the three-day mourning, which was officially declared by a presidential decree, will start from today.
Earlier, the President of the Republic of Mauritania, Mohammad Ould Cheikh Ghazouani expressed condolences to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, where he expressed his heartfelt sorrow on the demise of Kuwait late Amir.
The Mauritanian leader expressed deep sorrow on the occasion, describing the loss as the loss of a great and wise leader who helped bring an end to disputes and conflicts in the Arab and Islamic worlds. (end) mry.mb
