VIENNA, Sept 28 (KUNA) -- The Austrian health ministry declared on Monday that tally of coronavirus infections reached 43,473 after recording 556 positive cases during the past 24 hours.
More than 33,589 patients were officially recovered from the virus, while deaths tally at 787, the Ministry added in a statement.
However, Slovenia remarked Austria as a red-list country and imposed either a PCR test or 10 days quarantine for people coming from Austria.
Germany, Belgium, Holland and Switzerland issued a warning and travel restrictions on Austria due to the high number of COVID-19 infections.
Austria re-imposed wearing masks in public places lately. (end)
