CAIRO, Sept 27 (KUNA) -- The Egyptian Ministry of Health said Sunday that 104 people tested positive for the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19), while 14 others died due to the viral illness over the past 24 hours.
The latest figures took the overall infections up to 102,840 and the death toll to 5,883, the ministry's spokesman Dr. Khaled Mujahed said in a press statement.
The number of treated virus patients went up by 706 to 95,080, he added. (end)
