Kuwait SC tops handball league after beating Al-Arabi 25-23

KUWAIT, Sept 24 (KUNA) -- The competitions of the 2019-0202 Kuwaiti merging handball league concluded on Thursday as Kuwait SC defeated Al-Arabi 25-23.
The win placed Kuwait SC in the first position with 30 points, but Al-Arabi came fifth with 22 points.
In the same tournament, Al-Salmiya beat Al-Fahaheel 33-23, Al-Qurain defeated Al-Sulaibikhat and Burqan defeated Al-Tadhamun 40-21.
Kuwait SC won the last seventh competitions seven times.
This competition includes 16 teams; six from the premier handball league and 10 from the first-class handball league.
Al-Salmiya won the trophy 11 times, followed by Al-Arabi with 10 titles, Kuwait 9, Kazma 6, and Qadsia, Al-Sulaibikhat and Al-Fahaheel 5 titles each, while Khaitan won the title twice. (end) fr.hm
