KUWAIT, Sept 22 (KUNA) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping stressed on Tuesday his country's commitment to peaceful, cooperative and common development, noting that Beijing never seeks hegemony, expansion, or influence.
China News Agency (Xinhua) quoted Xi as saying in a recorded speech to the 75th session of the UN General Assembly, "We have no intention of waging a cold war or a hot war with any country, and we will work to resolve differences and disputes with others through dialogue and negotiations."
The Chinese President called on the international community to join hands and prepare to face more global challenges.
He stressed that economic globalization is an indisputable fact and an inevitable historical trend, adding that the world countries should oppose unilateralism and work to ensure the continuation of the supply chains of industry in the world in a stable and smooth manner. (end)
