BRUSSELS, Sept 22 (KUNA) -- Up to 13,471 new coronavirus infections were registered in the Netherlands between September 16-22, the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment reported Tuesday.
Total infections have surged to 98,240 in the country.
More than 33 more deaths from COVID-19 were reported for the same period raising the total death toll to 6,291.
The Institute publishes a weekly update on the coronavirus situation in the Netherlands on Tuesdays. (end)
