PARIS, Sept 20 (KUNA) -- France on Sunday reported a growing daily rate of coronavirus infections, reaching 10,569 in 24 hours and raising the tally to 452,763 since the outbreak of the disease.
In a statement, the Ministry of Health announced 12 virus-related deaths in the same period, taking the overall to 31,286.
France made wearing face masks compulsorily across Paris after registering consecutive increased cases of the coronavirus pandemic.
Those who violate these measures will be fined 135 euros. (end)
