KUWAIT, Sept 19 (KUNA) -- A package containing ricin addressed to President Donald Trump was intercepted in the White House mail, according on media outlets.
"The letter tested positive in both a field test and a laboratory test," according to NBC News, citing a law enforcement official.
Furthermore, the FBI's Washington field office said in a statement to CNN, "the FBI and our US Secret Service and US Postal Inspection Service partners are investigating a suspicious letter received at a US government mail facility".
It added "at this time, there is no known threat to public safety". (end)
