Lebanon: 779 new infection cases with COVID-19

BEIRUT, Sept 19 (KUNA) -- Lebanon declared on Saturday registering 779 new coronavirus cases upping the caseload to 28,297 since local outbreak of the pandemic months ago.
The local health department said in its daily report that five of the germ-infected patients died during the same period, raising the toll to 286.
Total count of the recoveries reached 11,440 and swab tests conducted over the past 24 hours amounted to 12,400. (end) ayb.ibi
