Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr. Saud Al-Harbi
KUWAIT, Sept 19 (KUNA) -- The honoring of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah with the US Legion of Merit, Degree Chief Commander, was reflective of his great status, said a Kuwaiti government official Saturday.
In a statement on the occasion, Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr. Saud Al-Harbi said that the award -- bestowed by US President Donald Trump on Friday, also displayed His Highness the Amir's crucial role on the regional and international arenas.
The Minister congratulated His Highness the Amir on this achievement, expressing hopes for prosperous health and a swift return for His Highness from his medical checkup trip abroad. (end)
