Yemen confirms two Covid-19 infections

ADEN, Sept 18 (KUNA) -- Yemeni health authorities said on Friday that two more cases of the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) were confirmed over the last 24 hours.
The fresh cases bring Yemen's total count of confirmed infections with the highly contagious illness up to 2,024, the country's national committee on response to the Covid-19 said in a press statement.
No new deaths due to the globally spreading virus were recorded over the last 24 hours, keeping Yemen's death toll at 585, while the number of recoveries stands at 1,221, it added. (end) sns.mt
