His Highness PM congratulates His Highness Amir on US honoring

KUWAIT, Sept 18 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Friday a congratulatory cable from His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah on US President Donald Trump's honoring of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah with the Legion of Merit (LOM), Degree Chief Commander.
In the cable, Sheikh Sabah Khaled expressed his pleasure to convey sincere greetings and congratulations to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on the US President Donald Trump's decoration.
This honoring shows His Highness the Amir's efforts and pioneering role on both regional and international levels, Sheikh Sabah Khaled said.
The US decoration reflects His Highness the Amir's prominent political and diplomatic role in enhancing stability, and international peace and security, as well as efforts to help vulnerable people all over the world, he noted.
He voiced his pride for the balanced policies, humanitarian initiatives and wise vision of His Highness the Amir as well as his achievements in serving the country, defending Muslim and Arab issues, and disseminating peace across the globe.
Under the leadership of His Highness the Amir, unprecedented accomplishments have been made, the premier pointed out.
He wished good health, well-being, a speedy recovery and a safe return to His Highness the Amir as well as further prosperity and progress to Kuwait.
In return, His Highness the Deputy Amir sent a cable of thanks to His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled for his sincere congratulations and sentiments to His Highness the Amir.
