AMMAN, Aug 13 (KUNA) -- Jordan Thursday reported 17 new Coronavirus (Covid-19) cases, bringing the kingdom's total number of confirmed cases to 1,320.
Jordanian Minister of Health Saad Jaber told a news conference that the latest infections included a single case with an unknown infection source, while the rest came due to close contacts with previously unveiled patients.
In addition, seven more patients recovered from the virus, he said, adding that medical teams conducted around 6,700 lab tests to hit 672,000 in total since the outbreak of the respiratory illness. (end)
