VIENNA, Aug 13 (KUNA) -- Austrian authorities announced 155 new coronavirus cases, and one death on Thursday raising the total number of confirmed infections to 22,547,and 725 deaths.
The Austrian authorities conducted over 983,000 tests for the virus, and more than 20,000 cases recovered since the start of the pandemic, said the country's health ministry in a statement.
The number of patients receiving medical care in hospitals is currently 114, while there are 22 others in ICU.
Austrian authorities have re-imposed the wearing of masks in supermarkets, post offices, banks, transportation, and in many commercial activities after the increase in the number of injuries compared to the previous period. (end)
