CARIO, Aug 12 (KUNA) -- Egypt has reported 26 new coronavirus fatalities, raising the death toll up to 5,085, the Ministry of Health announced Wednesday.
Moreover, 129 people were diagnosed with the deadly disease in the past 24 hours, pushing the toll up to 95,936, the ministry's spokesman Khaled Megahed said in his daily coronavirus press update.
Megahed stated that 1,013 COVID-19 patients recovered today, increasing the number of recoveries to 55,901. (end)
