ALGIERS, Aug 12 (KUNA) -- Algerian Ministry of Health said Wednesday that 11 people died of the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19), while 495 others tested positive for the virus.
Thus, the total number of registered cases edged up to 36,699, while the deat toll due to the virus now stands at 1,333, Jamal Forar, spokesman of the virus monitoring committee, said in his daily briefing.
Some 364 people recovered from the virus to take the total to 25,627, he added. (end)
