Jordan confirms 20 new Covid-19 cases, total at 1,303

AMMAN, Aug 12 (KUNA) -- Jordan Wednesday reported 20 new Coronavirus (Covid-19) cases, bringing the kingdom's total number of confirmed cases to 1,303.
The Jordanian Premiership and Health Ministry said in a joint statement that the latest infections included 14 Jordanians and four non-Jordanian truck drivers.
In addition, 26 patients recovered from the virus, taking the total number of recoveries to 1,215, as medical teams conducted around 6,640 lab tests to hit 666,000 in total since the outbreak of the respiratory illness. (end) ab.mt
