VIENNA, Aug 12 (KUNA) -- Austrian authorities announced Wednesday one death, and 194 new Coronavirus (COVID-19), raising the total number of infections in the country to 22,371.
In a statement, Health Ministry said that number of deaths due to COVID-19 reached 724 after the addition of the single fatality during the last 24 hours.
More than 983,000 tests have been made, while recoveries from the virus reached, 20,268.
About 118 people are still inhospitals, with 25 cases in the intensive care units, the statement added.
Austrian Austrian authorities have recently reimposed the wearing of masks inside supermarkets, post offices, banks, transportation and in many commercial activities after the number of infections increased compared to the previous period. (end)
