Two Kuwaiti MPs submit grilling montion against Education Min.

KUWAIT, Aug 12 (KUNA) -- Kuwait MPs Khalil Abul and Ouda Al-Ruwaiee submitted Wednesday an interpellation motion against Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education Dr. Saud Al-Harbi, speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim said.
Al-Ghanim, speaking to the press, said the grilling would be on the agenda of the August 18 session and that he informed His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah about it.
The two lawmakers would question Al-Harbi about slackness in implementing online education, mismanagement and confusion among Ministry of Education's departments over Kuwait online education platform.
They also accused him of undermining the private education system, adopting decisions without considering quality criteria, harming further education process of students, delay in announcing scholarships as well as failing to issue university degree for stateless despite completing their studies.
Al-Harbi is also facing a grilling by MP Al-Humaidi Al-Subaie on August 18, while Deputy Premier, Minister of Interior and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Anas Al-Saleh would answer an interpellation by MP Shuaib Al-Muwaizri on the same day. (end) fn.ns.bs
